Open load transport uses open-body vehicles (flatbed / open trailer / platform) with no roof or side walls. Long, tall, wide or heavy cargo that won't fit a closed box — machinery, steel structures, pipes, timber, marble, pallets and bulk — is loaded easily from the top or side with a forklift or crane.
