Factors that affect price

  • Container Type: Standard, open-top, side-opening or tank — each type has a different cost base.
  • Size: Pricing varies by 20', 40' or 45' dimensions.
  • New or Used: New containers cost more; used units are more economical.
  • Intended Use: Storage, transport or custom design changes the price profile.
  • Extras: Climate control, insulation, special paint or security systems raise cost.

Container Prices by Type

The type determines where a unit falls within the range. Below is the 2026 price position for the most requested types. For an exact figure, contact us with type + condition + location.

Jump to: 20 DC · 40 / 40 HC · 45 HCPW · Reefer · Flat Rack / Open Top · Used · Cargo / Logistics

20ft (20' DC) Container Prices

The 20' standard (20' Dry Container / 20 DC) is the most requested size and sits in the lower half of the range. Used storage-grade is the most economical; new (one-trip) units reach mid-range. Ideal for storage, site offices and general cargo. Equals 1 TEU.

40ft and 40 HC Container Prices

40' DC and 40' High Cube (HC) sit in the upper half. The 40 HC is about 30 cm taller (internal height ~2.70 m) and is the most cost-effective choice per cubic meter for light, voluminous cargo; its price is slightly above the 40 DC. Both are 2 TEU.

45ft (HCPW) Container Prices

The 45' HCPW (High Cube Pallet Wide), at 13.7 m with a wide base, is a special type that is more efficient for Euro-pallet loading, so it usually sits above the standard range. Çelikor is a leading Turkish supplier with 500+ owned 45' units — see the container sale page.

Reefer (Refrigerated) Container Prices

Reefer containers are the top price tier due to the refrigeration machinery; whether the unit is running or non-running changes the price significantly. Holding -25°C to +25°C, they carry food, pharma and flowers. Detail: reefer container prices.

Flat Rack and Open Top Container Prices

Flat rack (collapsible walls) and open top serve project cargo, heavy machinery and out-of-gauge loads. As supply is limited and demand bespoke, pricing is more variable and is quoted on request.

Used (Second Hand) Container Prices

Used containers are priced by condition: Cargo Worthy (sea-shipping ready), Wind & Water Tight (ideal for storage) and As-Is. They sit in the lower-to-mid range. If you won't ship by sea, good-condition used is the smartest budget option — guide: used container prices.

Cargo and Logistics Container Prices

"Cargo container" and "logistics container" are common names for standard steel DC/HC containers; prices are not separate and fall within the same 50,000-150,000 TL range by size and condition. We offer fleet pricing for logistics operations.
